According to the Public Relations Office of the Shokri Industrial Group, Engineer Badi’ Sanaye, CEO of JAHAN SANAT KERMANSHAH Knowledge-Based Company, announced the successful design and production of the strategic component known as the fishplate, which is widely used in the country’s railway lines. He emphasized that this achievement aligns with national macro policies aimed at supporting domestic production and reducing dependency on imports in fundamental industries.
Engineer Badi’ Sanaye explained: “The fishplate is a critical component used to join two rails and maintain the structural integrity of railway tracks. Previously, this part was entirely imported. By localizing the production of this component at JAHAN SANAT KERMANSHAH Company, we have not only achieved significant foreign currency savings but also made a substantial contribution to reducing dependency on foreign suppliers.”
He added: “This achievement comes at a time when the country is on the verge of a major expansion of its railway network, and the demand for high-quality, reliable, and standard-compliant components is more critical than ever. The domestic production of fishplates ensures a stable and timely supply of this essential part and can play a key role in accelerating the implementation of railway infrastructure projects.”
The CEO of JAHAN SANAT KERMANSHAH Knowledge-Based Company emphasized: “By leveraging advanced engineering technologies, utilizing high-quality raw materials, and implementing continuous quality control oversight, the final product has successfully met all technical requirements and international safety standards. In addition to being fully competitive with foreign counterparts, this product is now ready to enter export markets.”
Given the honorable visit of the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade on May 14, 2025, to review this achievement, we respectfully request comprehensive support from both the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
Engineer Badi’ Sanaye concluded by stating: “This achievement once again demonstrates that confidence in domestic capabilities and strategic investment in knowledge-based companies is the key solution for addressing the country’s infrastructural and strategic needs.”
