On the occasion of Women’s Day, a ceremony was held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in the Rose Hall of the Shokri Industrial Group. This event was attended by the women of the organization, Mr. Jahanbakhsh Shokri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shokri Industrial Group, and Mrs. Shirin Shirzadi, the esteemed wife of Engineer Jahanbakhsh Shokri. During the ceremony, Mr. Shokri and Mrs. Shirzadi extended their congratulations to all mothers of Iran, especially the mothers of Kermanshah and the women of the Shokri Industrial Group, and expressed their appreciation for the efforts of women in various fields.
In the special ceremony honoring Mother’s Day and Women’s Day, held with the presence of the women of the Shokri Industrial Group, Engineer Shokri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shokri Industrial Group, delivered warm and heartfelt remarks. He congratulated everyone on this significant day and emphasized the importance of women’s roles in the family and society.
He began his remarks by saying: “Mother’s Day and Women’s Day are invaluable opportunities to appreciate the tireless and impactful efforts of women in all aspects of life. I especially extend my congratulations to all the mothers present here today, as well as those on the path to becoming mothers. You, dear ones, play a vital role not only within your families but also in shaping the future of society and the nation.”
Engineer Shokri continued: “I hope that you, educated and capable women, wherever you are—be it at home or in society—fulfill your role with awareness and a sense of responsibility toward raising the next generation, contributing to building a brighter future for the country. Your responsibilities in nurturing children, who are the builders of the society’s future, play a fundamental role in the progress and development of the nation.”
In another part of his speech, he referred to the current challenges and difficulties facing the country and added: “In these tough and challenging times that our nation is grappling with, we hope for a day when these problems are resolved, and all of us can live in an environment of freedom and prosperity. Today, some issues, such as energy shortages and disruptions in the provision of essential services, remain significant concerns that require serious attention.”
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shokri Industrial Group, while honoring the memory of mothers who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and destiny of the country, said: “On this day, we pray for the mothers who are no longer with us and extend special congratulations to the mothers who continue to strive and fight in various fields. The sacrifices of these mothers for the homeland and freedom will forever remain in our memories.”
Engineer Shokri concluded by expressing his hopes for the success and prosperity of the women present at the ceremony, saying: “I wish for each of your days to be filled with joy, success, and progress. I hope that all of us, with greater effort and determination, can take steps toward building a bright future for our country.”
He also highlighted the importance of such ceremonies in fostering solidarity and strengthening motivation within the community, adding: “I hope these gatherings lead to positive outcomes and inspire everyone to move forward with greater determination and resolve toward achieving our country’s long-term goals.”
Later in the session, Shirin Shirzadi, in honor of Mother’s Day and Women’s Day, stated: “Proper upbringing and a mother’s unconditional love are the foundation for shaping the future of society.”
Shirzadi, referring to social and cultural changes in society, emphasized the importance of raising children within the family environment and added: “We must teach children to foster a sense of love and friendship among siblings. If we create distinctions between children within the family, it could lead to issues in their relationships in the future.”
Shirzadi also highlighted the role of mothers in building society, stating: “Mothers have a constructive role not only at home but also in the community. They are the architects of the future and must teach resilience in the face of challenges.”
In conclusion, she congratulated all mothers and women on Mother’s Day and prayed to God for the health and well-being of the mothers of Iran. She wished success and happiness for all mothers and future mothers.
Later in the ceremony, attended by Engineer Jahangiri, Advisor to the Shokri Industrial Group; Engineer Ahmadipour, CEO of Jahan Foolad Gharb; Engineer Heydarian, CEO of Jahan Sanat; and Dr. Rezaei, Director of Administrative Affairs, the women of the Shokri Industrial Group were honored. They were presented with certificates of appreciation, flowers, and gift cards as a gesture of gratitude and recognition for their efforts and contributions.
