On the second day of the Fifth National Steel Festival and Exhibition of Iran on December 25, 2023 (Dey 20, 1402), a cooperation agreement was signed between Middle East Future Steel Company (the client) and Jahan Sanat Kermanshah (the
contractor). This agreement focuses on the construction and support of machinery and equipment for the hot rolling and rebar production line, in line with the slogan of the year 1402 to control inflation and increase production, as well as the indigenous manufacturing and reducing dependency and supporting technological needs. The agreement, valued at 909,000 euros with a currency savings of 1,719,000 euros, was signed.
Mr. Engineer Salmanpour, representative of the CEO of Middle East Atieh Steel Company, commented on the sidelines of signing this cooperation agreement: “Prior to becoming acquainted with Jahan Sanat Kermanshah, our company used to procure equipment for its rebar production lines from abroad. However, after getting to know
the Shokri Group and Jahan Sanat Kermanshah, we decided to entrust them with the construction of very sensitive equipment that was part of our plans for the steel sheet line.”
He further stated: “Structural assembly (strucators) has no history in Iran, and all existing strucators in rolling lines are manufactured abroad and installed domestically.”
The representative of the CEO of Middle East Future Steel Company emphasized: “Our next plan with Jahan Sanat Kermanshah is to manufacture DSKLR, which play a significant role in steel sheet production.”
Additionally, the production of Jahan Sanat Kermanshah not only lacks the drawbacks of foreign devices but also aligns with the interests of the client company.
Jahanbin Shokri expressed gratitude, stating: “We thank Middle East Atieh Steel Group (Atieh Foulad)for trusting Jahan Sanat Kermanshah, our knowledge-based company, and entrusting our skilled forces with the construction of such sensitive equipment.”
A member of the board of directors, Shokri emphasized: “We hope to have more cooperation based on the agreements we have, aiming for comprehensive production.”
He stressed our intention to be good partners, saying: “Jahan Sanat Kermanshah, with entirely local and experienced personnel in the field of machinery in recent years, has made strides in the steel industry’s localization.”
Shokri noted with pride: “Besides being alongside the country’s steel industries, we have also supplied equipment for steel projects in Iraq.” The ceremony took place in the memorandum exhibition hall, attended by members of the Iranian Steel Association, directors, representatives from IMIDRO, and managers from Iran’s steel industries.
